Shawn Pardazi - Author

Capt. Shawn Pardazi (Retired) is best known nationally for his renowned unique training style and in-demand Criminal Interdiction and Terrorism Identification training courses.  With his extensive background and vast experience in his 25+ years of law enforcement and government agency roles, he brings a valued voice to conversations not only regarding law enforcement but also anti-terrorism and national security related topics.  Shawn Pardazi has served with many specialized task forces in several states and also in investigative roles with the various regional and federal investigative task forces, where his specialized skills were utilized in counter terrorism investigations.

Shawn Pardazi grew up in the Middle East and was trained as a child-soldier candidate by extremist groups, hence he learned first-hand how techniques and tactics are used to influence, indoctrinate, and motivate extremist ideologies. After escaping the Middle East and landing in the United States at the age of 15, driven by a deep sense of duty and a desire to make a difference, Shawn underwent a remarkable transformation. He turned away from the path of extremism and embraced a new mission: to protect and serve the citizens of his new homeland. Joining the ranks of law enforcement, he dedicated himself to the pursuit of justice and the safeguarding of communities.   Over the span of two and half decades, he utilized his in-depth knowledge  to deliver training courses for over 40,000 members of law enforcement and intelligence personnel from various local, state, national and international agencies on topics related to counter terrorism and anti-smuggling operations.
